Welcome to the CFZ shopping mall. Although we have the commercial instincts of the purple rail of Hiva Oa, we have been running a commercial outlet for books and merchandise for about a decade and a half now, and most of the time we have made a complete mess of it. This is not because of deliberate mismanagement, but basically because although we are pretty good at a lot of the things that we do, we are pretty lousy at being shopkeepers.
So, finally, we have given up. Or rather, we have given up attempting to do it ourselves. The final nail in the coffin was the (not so) graudual slide by eBay from being a boon to small sellers like ourselves, to being basically an outlet for proper businessmen, and as we aren't proper businessmen, we cannot hope to compete. So, the boolks are now being handled by Amazon.co.uk, and the merchandise by Zaxxle.co.uk. The only things that head office do now are manage the subscriptions (and even the US/Canadian ones are now kept under control by the lovely Naomi West). By stopping being responsible for our sales at long last we can guarantee the best service ever from the retail arm of the Centre for Fortean Zoology. Good innit? Just follow the links below
